Fenqihu Loco Shed measures 17.5 meters wide and 43 meters deep. It serves as an important space for locomotive maintenance, repair, loading, and unloading of supplies and for locomotive personnel to work, meet, and rest. Two tracks are located in the middle of the loco shed hall. A repair pit was once located on the south side track. Restrooms, night duty rooms, oil loco sheds, sand storage rooms, and warehouses for logistical support are located on both the north and south sides. The loco shed structure adopts a rectangular column frame. The truss span is as long as 9 meters because the inspection requires a large work plane. Have you noticed that the exterior of the loco shed has different colors in the repair process in different eras? In the 1990s, it was blue. Before the current repair, the loco shed was white. After the repair and peeling, it is now the original color of the wood.
